Victim Support plays a key role as a national charity providing world-class services to victims and witnesses of crime. We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Service Delivery Manager, who will be based at our Preston office in Lancashire.
Accountable for the delivery of Victim Support’s services in the community you will manage a team of Service Delivery Managers across Cumbria & Lancashire. Working closely with external agencies, you will develop links and networks across the statutory and voluntary sector to provide a range of services to meet the needs of victims and witnesses of crime.
As a member of the divisional management team you will assist the Divisional Manager in the development and delivery of the divisional plan and budget and ensure that all of the team are working towards the corporate objectives.
An experienced manager with excellent leadership skills you have a strong client focus together with knowledge and an understanding of voluntary and statutory agencies particularly in the criminal justice sector.
You will have the ability to work without direct supervision, prioritise work and to deal with competing or conflicting demands/ needs and interests in an organised and methodical manner. You must also be able to demonstrate that you are able to gather, analyse and use information and evidence from different sources to resolve issues.
An active commitment to promoting equal opportunities and diversity is essential. You will need to be flexible with working hours in order to meet the needs of the role. The ability to travel freely throughout the Division is also a pre-requisite.
This is a full time regular post, which is subject to Criminal Records Bureau check. The salary is £27,000 per annum + 5% non contributory pension
