We are currently looking for a hard working individual, to work within a small hotel business, who is confident, has personality and a hands on attitude, along with the ambition and drive to learn new and exciting skills. You will have the ability to work well within a team and use your own initiative. You will be able to lead and guide the team you are responsible for along with fully motivating them.
Your experience will not be too formal and you may currently be working as a member of waiting or bar staff, in a fresh food environment, ready to progress and extend your knowledge, skills and experience with this environment.
Responsibilities are as follows :-
Leading a team of up to and including 12 staff;
Staff uniform – tidiness and cleanliness;
Deputising with other Supervisors in the absence of the Restaurant Manager;
Cleaning rotas;
Checking on tables;
Ensuring the Front of House areas are clean and tidy at all times;
Interacting with the guests in a pleasant and polite manner;
Order taking and wine pouring;
Working within other departments as and when required – bar and reception;
Duty Manager responsibilities under the Senior Manager
Have a knowledge of the company’s Health & Safety policy and instruct staff on this;
Adhering to exceptional standards of quality at all times and ensuring your staff adhere to the same.
This vacancy is paying £16,000 per annum, with working hours of 40 per week, 5 days over 7 – splits and straights.
Live in is available at a very competitive rate, if required. 24 days holiday per year. Room for progression.
