A position within a fast growing company has arisen for a trustworthy, reliable and dependable person to assist the Company Directors in their modern offices on the outskirts of Clitheroe.
The candidate must have an outgoing personality, excellent telephone manner, be able to communicate with a wide range of people and work as part of a team. The ability to prioritise is essential, and the ideal candidate will be tidy and well organised, have a keen
eye for detail and be IT literate (preferably with an ECDL qualification, although this is not essential).
Key duties will include converting delivery notes into invoices, organising despatch and consignments, liaising with warehouse staff, parcel tracking. The role will also involve aspects of basic accounts including sales ledger and credit control along with general ad hoc duties i.e. filing, taking telephone messages, and managing the company car fleet.
The successful candidate will be hardworking with an enthusiastic attitude towards work, be able to work effectively unsupervised, and remain calm and professional under pressure. The successful candidate must also possess a driving licence and have there own transport due to the company being based on the outskirts of the town.
The client is ideally looking for an immediate start due to the current incumbent emigrating, however if a notice period needs to be worked this can be considered for the right person.
Salary on offer is negotiable dependant on experience, up to 15K. Hours of work will be 9am-6pm Mon-Fri and the company operates a smart/casual dress code.
