Our Client, a national distribution company, requires a Transport Manager to join their team, for an immediate start. Main duties will be looking after approximately 15-20 vehicles and drivers, routing, briefing and debriefing drivers, cost, damage and insurance, plus all aspects of administration in a busy office. Suitable candidates will be experienced Transport Managers with a good knowledge of road transport legislation. Applicants must be organised, and confident, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with proven experience of controlling a busy transport office, and up to 20 drivers. A CPC qualification would be desirable but not essential.
This is a permanent position, based on a temp to perm contract.
Hours 9.30am - 6.00pm Monday-Friday.
