| SECURITY OPERATION CENTRE ANALYST - NETWORKING / FIREWALLS / TCP/IP - EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY WITH TRAINING AND CAREER PROGRESSION - UP TO £40,000 - MILTON KEYNES!!!! I'm looking to make contact with some really bright, enthusiastic and able network security analysts in the Milton Keynes area. The company in question are a leader in their field, and the role has arisen as they build a new team to handle increased business and technical duties. The right candidate Will already have experience in the logging and definition of IDS/IPS alerts and identification of genuine attacks and ingression into the network as opposed to false positives/log input misconfigurations etc. This will then translate into communications with the engineering team and resolution of faults or incidents. An able candidate would be one with broad technical security knowledge, and VERY good infrastructure and network protocol, and packet capture ability and experience. You might have experience in using tools like Ethereal, tcpdump, LANwatch or other well known packet-sniffers. You will also need a multi O/S ability and experience with McAfee IDS Systems, Intrushield and others. Juniper skills would be helpful, as well as a personal interest in IT security and techniques would give you an edge. Candidates should be able and willing to obtain UK MoD Security Clearance as part of this role, or already hold such clearance. Candidates who are not able to achieve this will not be considered.
