| A large NHS organisation requires a Strategy and Planning Accountant to cost a new initiative relating to patient care services and HIPS. The role is on a temporary basis initially and will be based in Carlisle and may lead to longer term opportunities. The role will involve looking at the active based costing of key areas associated with new initiatives within the NHS. This will include getting involved in the financial management of the accounting systems as well as liaising with finance and non-finance managers. The role will be a supervisory one, looking after a team of 5. You will be joining a well established organisation, which covers a variety of functions, with an excellent opportunity to build on specialist knowledge, getting involved with a new initiative within the NHS. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in costing accounting, be qualified, and be committed to the role, looking to make a significant impact within the department.
