Delphi/C++ Developer - West Yorkshire - Circa 34k - Delphi, C++, Java, SQL, application development

Fantastic and rare opportunity (especially in Yorkshire!) for an expienced Delphi developer to step into a role that offers a genuine challenge, variety and progression!

As part of their ongoing expansion, my client is looking for a developer with a successful 5+ year track record of Delphi development. The successful candidate will be joining an established computer systems supplier and will take up a key role in the ongoing application development and maintenance. It goes without saying that you should have good problem solving skills as production testing and debugging will be an important part of the software delivery process.

Essential skills:

-Delphi
- SQL Server design
-5+ software delivery experience

And as many of the following as possible:

-C++
-Java
-Experience of front end applications
-New media/Magazine/advertising/marketing/publishing industry exposure
-Use of reporting applications (Cognos/Crystal)
-Knowledge of Quark/Indesign development

It will be important that you are able to work as part of a team as well as individually as the role will offer you a more than reasonable amount of autonomy, allowing you to work under your own steam. There will also be a consultative element as you will also be involved in advising customers on their needs and requirements. The company are also looking to branch out into web applications so your input will be valued as to how the company can grow. This is an unique opportunity for you to get into a Delphi development position where you can really make the role your own!
