HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER - CONSTRUCTION - LANCASHIRE
Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking to appoint a Company Health & Safety Manager, reporting to the company's head office in Lancashire. Established for over twenty years our client is involved in civil engineering, construction, commercial and industrial projects across the UK.
The successful candidate will;
Report directly to the Managing Director and attend Board meetings as required
Be responsible for Health & Safety throughout Construction, Civil Engineering, Plant Hire and Property
Be responsible for auditing, coaching and planning Health & Safety requirements for the team
Have a proven background in the Construction industry with practical experience
The Health & Safety Manager must have up to date knowledge of current legislation, and it is a necessity that you currently hold the following as minimum qualifications;
NEBOSH Diploma in General Construction
Occupational Health & Safety
Corporate Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health
Validated CPD in this field
Relevant CSCS Card
In return the successful Health and Safety Manager will receive an excellent remuneration package, with salary dependant on experience, in addition to a company car or allowance, pension and healthcare.
