CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER - MAIN CONTRACTOR - PERMANENT POSITION

My client is one of the UK's largest multi-national contractors working on a number of challenging and prestigious projects. Due to business growth a competent and fully fledged Project Manager is required for the office in West Yorkshire.

As a Project Manager be involved on a mix of Design and Build and refurbishment projects in leisure, commercial, retail and education sectors.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

A strong proven track record within the construction industry
A minimum of 10years post-qualification experience or equivalent (at least 5 years management experience)
Educated to HNC/HNC/ONC or BTEC level or equivalent

In addition you will have:

Expertise in refurbishment, student accommodation, retail build, commercial - Hotels
Experience of RC Structures housing and utility sectors.
A successful record of completing projects on time and within budget
Experience on projects/ contracts from £3million - £10million
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Fully computer literate


This is a PERMANENT position and in order to be eligible you MUST have UK main contracting experience and be able to provide details of a STABLE career history. Furthermore, you will have a mixed range of experience within the construction industry.


On offer for the right candidate is a basic salary of £45K - £47K + an excellent benefits package.
