Full Description:
My client, a Business Relocation Consultancy, is looking to recruit an IT Support/Web Developer for their site located near to Preston. You will be required to develop/maintain web based applications for clients'. This will require good experience of ASP or VB along side with good experience of MS SQL. You will need to be proficient in some of the basic but key areas of web development such as creating page layouts; forms and using hand coded HTML as well as using DreamWeaver. Ore development is in ASP/SQL but will be moving to ASP.Net. You will also be required to troubleshoot & resolve client problems & provide communication on problem status to clients. To install & maintain server/desktop hardware/software. To deploy software upgrades as needed and to maintain hardware/software inventories. Experience of ASP & SQL is essential. Any experience of ASP.Net is highly desirable as is experience of XML, XHTML and JavaScript. Any knowledge of Crystal Reports is desirable. Having experience of MS Office, NT4.0, Win2000, TCP/IP and DNS is also an advantage. Having excellent customer service skills and support experience is essential. PC Config/upgrades and minor repair experience is ideal.
