My client in the Internet is looking to recruit a Product Manager for their site located to the north of Manchester. You will be responsible for developing a clear market strategy with an emphasis on maximising business opportunity for the company's recently launched voice product portfolio by developing an understanding of market dynamics & customer needs within all relevant market sectors. You will also be required to identify & maximise market opportunities for a given product or service within each market segment (business/residential/channel), ensuring decisions are taken with a full understanding of impact on business performance. To develop a clear product strategy for the products, ensuring it is correctly positioned in terms of breadth & depth of functionality. To develop product pricing strategy which is well researched, clear & communicated to customers & internal stakeholders. You will also be responsible for: Identifying opportunities to generate increased sales volume & increased average unit sales value via sales/marketing activity. To monitor product performance on a monthly basis taking action (pricing review/promotional programme/analysis of sales) if product is under performing. To take responsibility for product marketing including conducting a detailed competitor analysis & to use this information to develop selling & pricing strategies which seek to draw out key benefits of the company V competition within each segment. To develop online advertising & promotional materials that accurately positions the product (ie advertising/mailings/product brochures/sales tools). It is essential that you are educated to Degree level or have good relevant experience within in Product Management within the B2B IT/Internet/ISP or Telecoms market. Having experience of VoIP is highly desirable but my client is interested in seeing CV's from candidates with good Product Management experience in the previously mentioned sectors. You will need to be customer focussed & commercially aware. Strong analytical & data manipulation skills and well as strong influencing & negotiation skills are a must. You must be able to think strategically whilst achieving results in immediate area of responsibility. Excellent planning & organisational skills as well as being an excellent communicator and able to communicate at all levels is necessary.
