Full Description:
My client in the Public Sector is looking to recruit an IT Security/Accreditation Specialist for their site located near to Preston. You will be required to ensure that Information Security issues are properly addressed throughout the company with the agencies the organisation shares information with, principally by the way of an IS audit. You will also be required to support the creation of Risk Management Accreditation Document Sets within the company. Main responsibilities of the role will be to: Initiate and/or carry out appropriate Risk assessment reviews for all the Information systems. To be responsible for the creation of draft Risk Management Accreditation Document Sets in relation to identified systems. To assist in ensuring compliance by all personnel with the Information Security Policy and to assist with ensuring that the Policy is kept up to date with all security developments. To liaise with Information Systems Owners, Managers and Supervisors ensuring they are aware of the need to incorporate in all systems an appropriate level of security. To educate system owners & users raising their awareness to their responsibilities for ensuring the security data held by their system(s) proposing measures to assist them in meeting those responsibilities. It is essential that you have good experience/exposure to ISO 27001/BS7799. Any Infosec experience/exposure is ideal as is any exposure to CLAS or CISSP.
