Full Description:
My client is one of the UK's leading providers of infrastructure services and is part a FTSE-250 company.

Projects you will be involved in will cover network and asset solutions in the water (projects range up to £112m Circa) gas (contracts currently range up to £180m) and electrical sectors (contracts up to £175m)

Contracts include: EIC, JV and Frameworks.

Location:

The successful Commercial Manager will be based in the End Clients offices Sherburn in Elmet Leeds.

Discipline: Commercial Manager:

Reporting directly to the Project Director;
A lead role in the management team; and
Specific responsibility for the commercial management of a 300m capital investment programme for the largest water only company in the UK.

Key objectives for the Commercial Manager:

Developing and managing the commercial team
Implementation of effective project controls system
Provision of pre and post contract project control and reporting
Developing productive relationships with the client and framework contractors
Develop and extend the service offering to the client in accordance with the client plan;
Provide support to the Project Director as required.

Required Experience

Ideally 10+ years Quantity Surveying experience
Utilities, civils or water project experience is preferred
Experienced in managing a commercial team
Understanding of regulation, specifically price review processes
