My client is a leading UK provider of infrastructure services across the public and private sector. The business which specialises in the design and delivery of complex engineering projects, provides specialist and innovative tunneling, utilities, civil engineering and mechanical and electrical services to the defense, water, transport and rail sectors.
The project: Highway Infrastructure
Lincolnshire County Council has awarded my client a £62.5 million contract to deliver the new A1073 Spalding to Eye Improvement Scheme. The new route, which will join the A16 south of Spalding and see the A47 at Eye be reclassified as the A16, will help to ease congestion, as well as providing an important strategic link to the East of England.
The project is being let as an Early Contractor Involvement scheme under the Lincolnshire Major Projects Framework agreement
Work will include constructing a 22km parallel stretch of new single carriageway road that will bypass a number of local communities previously affected by traffic and will also see junction improvements, landscaping and environmental mitigation works.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor Graduate looking to progress in the civils industry.

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will have excellent interpersonal skills, be highly motivated, hard working and passionate about the project in hand.
Experience:
Ideally have 2-3 years experience in the civils/utilities sector and be degree or HNC qualified.
