| Sales Office Supervisor To work within this friendly company, who offer a pleasant, busy working environment. Within a small, multilingual team the role includes customer relationship management, sales order processing and market development of worldwide countries. Reporting to the Sales Director the responsibilities of the role are:- To work with a small team and manage the day to day functions in a busy sales office Liaise with production for lead times Responsible for market development and customer relationship building in specific countries. Issue accurate sales orders and progress through production ensuring target deliveries are attained. Liaise with Sales Director and Production staff to ensure delivery priorities are maintained and revised against changing customer needs. Monitor sales procedures and ensure records are comprehensively administered. Pro-actively communicate sales enquiry opportunities for standard and non-standard product sales to Sales Director to follow up. Work with the team to ensure the delivery of quality customer service at all times. Provide cover as appropriate within the Sales Team. Ensure all customers and potential customers are treated with professionalism, courtesy and respect at all times, in response to any enquiry or service they may be requesting. Work with the Sales Team to ensure improvements to, and efficiency of sales order process. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Fort Vale. Selection Criteria The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, a proven record of working in a team and be a quick learner and able to work under pressure to changing deadlines A European language would be beneficial. Previous sales order processing experience essential. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to handle telephone calls, preferably within a service organisation or help desk role where departmental results are achieved by teamwork. Good IT skills, and a willingness to learn new systems and processes. Any engineering/technical experience is an advantage. In addition, the successful candidate is expected to be: Positive, outgoing and with a confident disposition Totally pro-active An excellent communicator both internally and externally in all mediums, with the ability to understand and summarise customers’ feedback into the system An active and flexible team player, contributing and developing solutions to common problems Mature and committed to the role Attentive to detail and thorough in his/her approach to work Able to use his/her initiative in order to meet tight deadlines. Summary The required candidate must be Customer Service focussed, preferably with a pan European background and telesales experience, excellent communicator and team player, totally pro-active and supportive of changes in the organisation. 24 days holiday (pro rata) are offered, (some of which must be saved to cover the Christmas shutdown), plus bank holidays, with half an hour for lunch Full training is provided. Salary: circa £25k |
