This blue chip company is looking to expand their team within the supply chain department. The role of administrator to the supply chain manager is available to start immediately. The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri. Salary: - £13-£15k + FREE parking and other benefits. Driving License and transport essential. 1. Purpose and dimensions of job To provide administration support in the management of the Household and Motor Supply Chain. 2. Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities of job Provide support to the Supply Chain Manager by way of; • Obtaining pre-agreed management information reports. • Arranging, and providing support in conducting and reporting in relation to supplier audits. • Arranging, recording and circulating minutes of supply Chain meetings both with suppliers and internal stakeholders. • Ensuring that suppliers provide trading accounts, insurance documents and other information required on an annual basis. • Maintaining supplier records. • Undertaking market research on prospective suppliers / clients. • Issuing communications regarding changes within the supply chain to stakeholders within the business • Acting as a referral point particularly in the absence of the Supply Chain Manager in dealing with unresolved issues with stakeholders and suppliers • Maintain awareness of developments within the varying categories of supply. • Ensure all files and correspondence are correctly maintained and provide clear and concise history of events and actions. • Ensure own technical and professional development progress in accordance with agreed PDP. Other soft skills training will be organised through your line manager in accordance with company procedures. 3. Job related experience, qualifications and skills Competence: Decision making Indicators for this competence are detailed below: • Breaks problem into constituent parts and differentiates key elements from the irrelevant or trivial; • Generates new alternatives to old problems; • Demonstrates a willingness to do something better; • Seeks ways to improve on current successes. • Minimum GCSE grade c or above or equivalent in Mathematics and English. • Full clean driving licence required. Skills, Knowledge and Experience: • Ability to communicate with all levels within the business • Good organisational skills • Ability to solve problems with a positive outlook • Sound knowledge of Insurance claims handling • Service Level and customer-Focused KPI’s • Understanding of Insurance Claims Handling Processes This post has an immediate opening.
