Job Description
Orchard Care Homes are looking to recruit an experienced Registered Home Manager for our purpose built 76 bedded, residential care home Haslingden Hall & Lodge.
The successful candidate will have had experience of working with the elderly in a residential and dementia setting, a minimum of two years in a supervisory management role, NVQ level 4 or equivalent and have knowledge of control and management of budgets and accounts.
We are looking for someone who can recognise and assess an individuals needs, provide the highest level of personal care and attention and follow care plans carefully.
You will be responsible for understanding and complying with statutory and legal requirements relevant throughout the home whilst monitoring the effective running of the home and ensuring all legislation and regulations concerning environmental health, infection control, planning and health and safety are met.
You will be able to deal with staffing requirements, be responsible for the recruitment of suitable employees for the team working in the home, ensure effective inductions take place and that all training needs for the team are identified and met. Rota management will also be part of this role ensuring an adequate number of staff are employed and all shifts are covered whilst also managing staff holidays and sickness levels.
