YOU MUST POSSESS A MINIMUM OF 12 MONTHS PREVIOUS RELEVANT WORKING EXPERIENCE WITHIN AN INSURANCE CLAIMS OR LEGAL CLAIMS BACKGROUND AS A FIRST RESPONSE ADVISER
Duties Include:
• Taking incoming calls from claimants
• Recording the claims information into a database
• Offering advice and guidance to the claimant
• Offering specific assistance in line with clients needs (e.g.) replacement vehicle provision
• Liaising with third party drivers including insurance companies etc
• Tracing of claims relevant information via approved sources, internet, yellow pages etc
• Contacting witnesses to discuss their opinions of the accident and completion of statements
• Updating brokers claims information via approved mediums - CDL
• Providing updates for brokers and clients alike
• Reporting of new claims to brokers and insurers alike
• Additional responsibilities as required to facilitate the set up and servicing of new claims and maintaining the departments protocols
• Reporting directly to the 1st Response Manager
