Job Description

Our client uses their expertise to create opportunities for their customers to reduce both procurement costs and carbon emissions within today's rapidly changing energy and carbon markets.

They are responsible for the procurement activity of over £1 Billion of their client’s annual energy costs.

As an Energy Market Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and researching energy market price trends and their drivers; this analysis will be used internally and will also be communicated to clients through reports and by phone.

You will be required to identify trading opportunities and communicate ideas in daily trading meetings; giving presentations to clients on energy markets and completing technical and fundamental analysis of prices and price drivers.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you must be able to demonstrate strong IT skills and an aptitude for mathematics. Knowledge of the energy markets and analysis methods are not essential as full training and support will be provided.
