Experimental Physicist

This world leader in the design of Analytical Instrumentation currently seeks a highly competent self motivated physicist, ideally qualified to PhD level or equivalent, to work on the design and development of instrumentation used in surface science. You must have excellent problems solving abilities coupled with theoretical and practical experience in scientific instrument design. A working knowledge electron/ion optics and UHV technology is also desirable. Working in a small multi-disciplinary team the successful candidate will enjoy a diverse and challenging environment requiring considerable initiative and analytical skills.
