My client, a leading firm in the Southport area is currently looking to recruit a payroll clerk to join their busy yet friendly team.
The role will involve taking control of a weekly payroll of between 400 - 1500 employees at any one time. You will be responsible for setting up starters and leavers on to the system as well as processing Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay and Statutory Paternity pay. You will also be responsible for the processing of P45s and assisting with the P11ds when required to do so.
The ideal candidate will be able to organise their days effectively and be able to work to deadlines.
The hours of work will be 8.30am - 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch however flexibility can be offered if needed.
