    MAIN PURPOSE:

    • To assist in the managing of housekeeping department in order to deliver profit margins agreed with Andrew Haworth and Christopher Newsham.

    • To assist in the operating of the housekeeping department on a day to day basis.

    • To work, cost effectively in H/K operations at all times.

    • To ensure that all Health and Safety laws are adhered to at all times.

    • To communicate effectively to other team members and senior management at all times.

    • To undertake duties in a professional manner at all times and lead by example.

    • Encourage repeat business of our customers through excellent service and consistency of work and high quality standards.


    MAIN TASKS


    1. Responsible for maintaining standards as set by Head Housekeeper.

    2. Responsible for maintaining Register of Chemicals used.

    3. Responsible for maintaining all safety signs in place and legible

    4. Responsible for personal timekeeping and attendance

    5. Responsible for ordering of cleaning products and safe usage.

    6. Responsible for ordering of Tea, Coffee etc

    7. Responsible for ordering clean Linen including Table Cloths and Napkins for functions and maintaining stock counts and accurate records

    8. Responsible for making sure Housekeeping Dept corridors and stairs are clean at all times.

    9. Must know how to use each cleaning product used for the bedrooms

    10. Responsible for organising any maintenance work to be carried out

    11. Responsible for cleaning of bedrooms and maintaining customer discretion

    12. Must know how to make a bed properly with clean fresh linen

    13. Must know how to clean a room properly to the standards set by Head Of Department

    14. Responsible for making sure extra items needed for the “Bridal Suites” are in the rooms e.g. Champagne and Chocolates

    15. Responsible for making sure all electrical appliances are in working order in the rooms

    16. Responsible for making sure all arrival rooms are ready on time for the guests.

    17. Liaise with Reception on which rooms are ready for checking in time
